The Four Owls, a British hip hop group, officially formed in 2011. The collective comprises four established members of High Focus Records: Fliptrix (Big Owl), Verb T (Bird T), BVA (Rusty Take-Off), and Leaf Dog (Deformed Wing). Their formation brought together artists already active within the UK hip hop community, combining their individual talents to create a group identity. The group is signed to High Focus Records, a label that has been central to their artistic development and distribution.
Since their establishment, The Four Owls have released three studio albums. Their debut album, “Nature’s Greatest Mystery,” was released on December 5, 2011, with Leaf Dog handling production. This was followed by “Natural Order,” released on February 12, 2015, which featured production from both Leaf Dog and the notable DJ Premier. The group continued to develop their sound, culminating in their third album, “Nocturnal Instinct,” released on April 17, 2020. This album also featured contributions from prominent artists such as DJ Premier, R.A. the Rugged Man, and Kool G Rap, further expanding their collaborative reach.
