Ansome’s reputation comes from his relentless yet nuanced approach to techno, keeping everything analogue and preferring to perform live. The Penny & Pound EP delivers on the first two fronts and is sure to fit in well with the third.

Title track from the freshly released True EP. This production is pure summertime, all smooth bassline and expertly integrated vocal. Unlike a lot of other summer jams this track fits in with both a relaxing on the balcony scenario and the deep bounce of the club dance floor.

Sebastian Ledher, Iragrett Tavares, Elich Garcia ft Syla – Lany (DJ PP Remix) [Spinnin Records]
DJ PP getting involved with a remix of an already massive collaboration. The track has a lot of elements involved, all of which contribute to a relaxed yet summery sound. The original approach lends itself well to DJ PP who has once again created a subtle tech house gem from the source material.
